The Due South Zombie Radioplay

The Due South Zombie Radioplay is a serial story, posted daily, detailing a zombie apocalypse starting in Chicago right with the pilot of Due South.

Why is it called a radioplay when it's not on the radio?
Because one of the writers is silly and liked the name. Also, because its format is sort of radioplay style. If anyone actually wants to turn it into a radioplay? Go for it.

If it starts with the pilot, does that mean we won't see [insert character name]?
Nope. Throw out the conventional rules, baby -- [insert dramatic music] -- it's the end of the world.

Are you seriously going to post a piece every day?
Yeah. [grins] At least, we're gonna try, until the story ends.

Can I write a side-story in this universe exploring something in greater detail than the serial does?
Absolutely.

Can I kill a character you haven't knocked off yet?
Sure, if you want. If the character's alive to the end of the Radioplay, though, it'll have to be marked as an AU.

Can I save a character you have?
Yep! Same deal. If they're dead in the Radioplay, then it'll have to be marked as an AU.

Can I use the comm for other zombieverse fics?
You bet. Come up with a tag for your zombieverse to distinguish it and write your own version of the end of the Due South world. If we get more, we'll even change the comm's name to be all-inclusive.

Does it have to be about zombies? What if I wanna do some other kind of post-apocalyptic story?
Sure, just make sure you tag it 'no zombies' so that we know the difference.

What about general DS fic?
Nah. Lots of places to post that. This is all about the mayhem and destruction and blood and such.

Well, what about general DS fic that takes place in a zombie universe?
Bring it. Long as it's a part of an established zombieverse or mentions 'em in some way, we're good.

Any particular rules?
Sure. Be nice, don't wank. Common sense stuff. Warn for things people might find triggery, like rape or hardcore kink. Death is... well, death is given here, but you can warn for that if you want. No character bashing, unless they're a zombie and you're wielding a cricket bat.
